All 60 trinkets.
Trinkets are Mina's passive build slots — Wikipedia's plot summary calls them out as “permanent stat boosts” alongside sidearms (the “temporary benefits” tier). The full roster is 60. We ship 10 confirmed today — Proto Spark, Ferrying Wisp, and eight more cross-referenced from Steam achievement text — and 50 honest TODO slots pending wiki.gg backfill.
How trinkets work
Mina the Hollower's trinket system is the campaign's customisation spine. Per Yacht Club's Steam store description (verbatim source: store features list), players “gear up with an arsenal of sidearms and trinkets” — the same sentence that flags both equipment categories. Wikipedia's plot summary draws the mechanical distinction more sharply: trinkets provide permanent stat boosts while sidearms offer temporary benefits. A trinket equipped stays on; a sidearm fires and is consumed.
The achievement Fully Equipped requires unlocking every trinket (alongside weapons, cloaks, and upgrades), which confirms the roster is finite and trackable. The slot count is not explicitly documented in any source we trust, but the achievement Masochist requires wearing exactly 3 Beastium Trinkets simultaneously — which is the floor count for active trinket slots (Mina has at least 3 slots open). The ceiling is pending verification.
Five archetypes the verified roster supports
Five archetypes anchor cleanly to confirmed trinkets. We list the archetype, the keystone trinket that defines it, and the supporting picks where they're evidence-pinned. Where a slot would need an unverified trinket name to complete the recommendation, we leave it open — better an honest gap than a guess.

| # | Name | Category | Location | Effect | Secret reward? |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 01 | Proto Spark | Defensive | Awarded after sealing the Duke at the conclusion of the Queensbury Crypt Duke quest (pending wiki.gg verification — wiki.gg has no Proto Spark page at time of writing). | Banks one free survival on a fatal hit — the Hollower revives with a sliver of HP instead of dying. One charge per save room rest (pending wiki.gg verification). | no |
| 02 | Ferrying Wisp | Movement | Tenebrous Isle. Specific room location pending verification. | Hold the jump button while airborne to float and extend the fall. Functions as a glide-style traversal aid for crossing wide gaps. | no |
| 03 | Chain Capacitor | Offensive | Pickup location pending verification. | Maintains a combat combo counter — the achievement 'Combo Conductor' requires keeping the max-combo state for 10 continuous seconds in combat. The trinket converts the combo counter into a passive damage multiplier as long as the chain holds. | no |
| 04 | Shock Flint | Offensive | Pickup location pending verification. | Generates a spark on a triggered interval — the achievement 'Shock Tactician' requires defeating a boss using a spark released by this trinket. Acts as a passive ranged damage source between weapon swings. | no |
| 05 | Plasma Jug | Defensive | Pickup location pending verification. | Stores a reserve tank of plasma capacity. The achievement 'Plasma Survivor' requires filling the reserve tank while at 1 HP — the trinket converts incoming pressure into reserve capacity so a near-death window becomes a comeback resource. | no |
| 06 | Dodging Pendulum | Defensive | Pickup location pending verification. | Adds a parry / dodge timing assist. The achievement 'Pendulum Master' requires parrying 10 attacks in a row without getting hit while the trinket is equipped — the trinket extends the parry window or rewards perfect parry chains. | no |
| 07 | Joule Syringe | Offensive | Pickup location pending verification. | Boosts sidearm damage or capacity. The achievement 'Joule Junkie' requires killing a boss at 1 HP using only sidearms with this trinket equipped — the trinket is the canonical sidearm-build keystone. | no |
| 08 | Beastium | Modifier | Pickup location pending verification. | A modifier trinket that stacks with itself — the achievement 'Masochist' requires defeating a boss while wearing exactly 3 Beastium Trinkets at once, which implies the trinket can be equipped in multiples for compounding effect (likely a glass-cannon damage-up at the cost of survivability). | no |
| 09 | Beckoning Collar | Utility | Pickup location pending verification. | Summons a companion creature. The achievement 'Beckoning Buddy' requires keeping the summoned creature active for most of a boss fight — the trinket trades a slot for an autonomous DPS / aggro pet. | no |
| 10 | Mist Jar | Movement | Pickup location pending verification. | Generates a phase-through cloud — the achievement 'Mist Glide' requires phasing through 3 enemies in a single use, which establishes the trinket as a movement-window invulnerability proc rather than a flat dodge buff. | no |
| 11 | Lace Glove | Unknown | Reward for defeating Dugin (Ossex secret boss) on the second encounter. | Reward trinket from Dugin's second-encounter resolution — full mechanical effect pending wiki.gg verification. | yes |

Where the verified trinkets drop
Only two trinkets have confirmed pickup regions today:
- Proto Spark — Queensbury Crypt, awarded by sealing the Duke at the conclusion of the act-1 Duke quest. See Duke choice deep dive for the seal-vs-spare branch context. This is the only trinket confirmed as a quest reward (not a pickup-chest item).
- Ferrying Wisp— somewhere on Tenebrous Isle. Wiki.gg confirms the island as the source but does not pin the specific room. Likely an early-game pickup given the glide mechanic's tutorial-style utility.
The other 8 verified trinkets (Chain Capacitor, Shock Flint, Plasma Jug, Dodging Pendulum, Joule Syringe, Beastium, Beckoning Collar, Mist Jar) are name-and-mechanic confirmed but location- pending. We'll fill region rows as wiki.gg backfills or as completed playthrough captures surface specific chest locations.
Boss recommended builds
Each main-line boss page ships a Recommended Build callout that cross-references trinket ids when the matchup makes sense. The most actionable pairings:
- Proto Spark on any A-tier or S-tier boss — the one-free-revive insurance turns a learn-the-fight attempt into a learn-the-fight + immediate retry. Especially valuable on Thorne phase 1 (the first S-tier composite) and the Lionel chain at Astral Orrery.
- Chain Capacitor + Joule Syringe for challenge-mode boss kills like the Hammerama (fully-charged Blaststrike Maul only) or Sniper Dagger (Whisper and Vesper ranged) achievements — the combo trinket keeps damage scaling up while the syringe boosts the actual hit value.
- Ferrying Wisp + Mist Jar for the Opossum Impressem achievement (10 tiles without touching the ground) and for the Tower-climb mini-game segments documented in the walkthrough hub.
Trinket questions
How many trinket slots can Mina equip at once?
At least 3, confirmed by the Masochist achievement (“wear exactly 3 Beastium Trinkets”). The ceiling is open — the game may unlock more slots through progression (cloaks / upgrades from the Fully Equipped achievement). Pending completed playthrough or wiki.gg confirmation.
What's the best trinket overall?
For first-run survival, Proto Spark is the highest-impact single trinket — one free revive per save room rest is effectively a doubled life pool on any new boss attempt. For challenge runs, Chain Capacitoris the strongest offensive keystone. Most other tier judgments depend on the build archetype you're running.
Are any trinkets missable?
Proto Spark is missable — sparing the Duke (vs sealing) routes you to a different reward, and the choice locks. See Duke choice. Whether other trinkets gate behind irreversible decisions is pending verification.
Do trinkets reset on NG+?
Per the Velasco interview, NG+ shuffles items and remixes the modifier system. Whether the trinket roster itself resets vs carries over is not directly stated. The achievement Hollowin' Again! (finish NG+) doesn't require any specific trinket loadout. See NG+ & NG+7 explained.
Are there secret-boss reward trinkets?
Implied yes — the Scout addendum frames 9 secret bosses as each dropping a trinket reward (and Dugin specifically per DualShockers). None of the 9 secret-boss-reward trinkets are identified by name in the sources we trust today. Pending completed playthrough capture; see Secret bosses hub.
Can I swap trinkets mid-boss fight?
Pending verification — the Beckoning Collar achievement (“keep the creature active for mostof a boss fight”) implies you can de-equip mid-fight without losing the summoned pet, but a clean confirmation is open.
What's the Beastium “exactly 3” rule?
The Masochist achievement requires beating a boss while wearingexactly 3Beastium Trinkets — not 1, not 4. This is the strongest direct evidence that (a) trinkets stack with themselves, and (b) the active slot ceiling is at least 3. The “exactly 3” phrasing also implies a stacking mechanic that gets stronger with each copy.
Where do I get Proto Spark specifically?
At the conclusion of the Queensbury Crypt Duke quest, after the Duchess fight. The Duke offers a choice between sealing him (you get Proto Spark) or sparing him (different unverified reward). See Duke choice.
