Every path. Every consequence.

The decision tree most guides skip. Each ending mapped against the Duke choice, final choice, and NG+ deltas. Spoiler-blurred by default — toggle the global spoiler switch to reveal.

WHAT WE'VE OBSERVED SO FAR

One ending captured end-to-end

Two independent playthroughs (an 11h47m natural-pace run and an 8h58m 100% run) landed on the same post-Lionel cinematic. Both share the killing-blow animation, the eight region-state captions, the Cappy NPC epilogue, and the fortress-burning intermission before the credits. We treat this as our first confirmed ending slot — the rest of the tree stays as honest TODOs until additional playthroughs land. See All endings explained for the long read.

PREVIEW
Lionel phase 3 death — the giant purple-haired final form slumps on the cosmic dais after the killing blow lands. Mina visible bottom-centre. Compilation t=11:36:30.
The killing blow — Lionel falls.
PREVIEW
Post-credits world tour — OSSEX caption: CHAOS FILLS THE STREETS. Towns NPCs gather around a fallen body, fires still burning on the buildings.
Ossex — chaos fills the streets.
PREVIEW
Post-credits world tour — NOX'S BAYOU caption. Swamp waters at peace, small mushroom creature crossing alone.
Nox's Bayou — the waters quiet.

WHAT THE ENDINGS COVER

The story arc that pays off here

Mina the Hollower's narrative arc runs across three campaign beats: the Duke quest in Queensbury Crypt(act 1's moral choice — seal or spare), the Astral Orrery mirror-world chain(act 2's transformation beat — Thorne, then Lionel), and the post-Lionel final choice(the campaign's end-of-game branch). NG+ overlays the entire arc with shuffled items, a mechanically-active mirror world, and modifier remix per Velasco's RPG Site interview. The endings tree is how those branches resolve.

Each ending also has a post-credits world tour — eight region-state captions (one per major region) that show the post-final state of each Generator + the Ossex hub + the Radiant Manor. The observed ending we have on tape captions Ossex as “CHAOS FILLS THE STREETS,” Nox's Bayou as “THE WATERS RUN CLEAR AGAIN,” Bone Beach as “PLUNDERED AND LEFT IN PEACE,” Septemburg as “JUDGMENT AND JUSTICE,” Astral Orrery as “SEEKING A NEW FRONTIER,” and Radiant Manor as “LAWLESS AND LEADERLESS.” Queensbury Crypt and Coltrane Peak sub-captions are still pending a second-pass scrub.

RECOMMENDED READING ORDER

Where to start

The endings tree reads cleanest in act order:

  1. Duke choice deep dive. The act-1 moral choice is the seed of the ending tree. Reading this first establishes the Seal vs Spare axis the matrix is built around.
  2. Final choice deep dive. The end-of-game branch is where the Duke decision propagates into the cinematic. Read this second to see how the act-1 seed flowers into the post-Lionel sequence.
  3. NG+ ending impact. Read this third for the second-run delta — what shuffles, what unlocks, what shifts on cycles 2-7.
  4. All endings explained.Read this last as the canonical-reading wrap-up. The long-form narrative interpretation + the “true ending” argument are easier to follow after the per-decision breakdowns ground the matrix.

You can also read all four pages in parallel — the matrix shape ships consistently across pages, so each deep dive sits independently of the others if you only want the answer to one specific question.

SPOILER NOTE

How spoilers are handled

Every long-form description, cinematic frame, and dialogue quote on the endings pages wraps in a spoiler-blur by default. Toggle the global spoiler switch (top-right corner) to reveal everything, or click each blurred block individually. The decision-tree shape and matrix structure stay un-blurred — they show that branches exist without revealing what they contain.

The OG image for every endings page is the generic site default — we never use an ending screenshot as the social preview to keep shared links from spoiling the ending.
